Brad Blakeman is a Financial Advisor with Baird and a native of Owensboro, Kentucky. He specializes in pre-retirement planning, investment strategies, multi-generational planning, and thoughtful incorporation of charitable giving into client financial plans.
He believes wealth management is about more than simply increasing assets. His approach is centered on helping clients to wisely and faithfully steward their wealth as they seek to make decisions that reflect their individual values.
He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Kentucky's Gatton School of Business, where he also completed undergraduate degrees in both accounting and finance. Prior to joining Baird, he spent more than 20 years as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in helping to lead businesses through various Controllership, FP&A, and managerial accounting roles . This experience provides him with a unique, disciplined, and real-world perspective when advising clients and business owners.
Brad is a graduate of Leadership Owensboro (2010) and remains actively involved in his community. He serves on the board of Care Net Pregnancy Center of Owensboro and as a deacon in his church. Brad and his wife, Andrea, have two adult children, Ainsley and Bradley.
